Condensed version

In the Washington Post, Charles Krauthammer says the row in the Security Council is decisive proof that the time to act on Iraq is now.

The Dayton Daily News is still blaming all America’s troubles on “unilateralism,” and warns against “going it alone” in Iraq - as if that were a serious possibility.

The Cincinnati Post slams a plan by an Ohio legislator to impeach three “activist” judges on the state’s Supreme Court, noting the people of the state seem to think they’re doing a reasonable job, since they were elected.

The Lima News notes the positive signs in a survey of immigrants, finding their reasons for coming to the United States remain freedom, opportunity and the chance to join (rather than splinter) American culture.

Finally, the Toledo Blade - one of America’s worst newspapers - maintains its standards by giving a midterm report card to President Bush which (surprise!) blames his tax cut for the poor economy and government deficits.
